Motions Practice in Beaver County
 
Motions Court will be held each day at 9:00 a.m. to receive all miscellaneous motions, emergency motions, and all other motions, with the following exceptions:
1.
Motions which are contested are to be presented to the judge assigned to that category of cases. Counsel must make arrangements with each other to appear at a time designated below.
2.
A motion in any case which has been assigned to a judge is to be presented to that judge regardless if the motion is contested or uncontested.
3. A motion involving the scheduling of a matter in a case which has not been assigned to a particular judge shall be presented to the judge assigned to the applicable category of cases.
4. All motions in civil trial cases,* whether contested or uncontested, not covered above, are to be presented to President Judge John D. McBride.
  • Civil trial cases are those cases which are listed for trial or will be listed for trial.
