Judge Deborah A. Kunselman
 
A cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame School of Law, Deborah A. Kunselman became the first female Common Pleas judge in Judicial District 36 when she was elected in November, 2005. Judge Kunselman is also a graduate of the the Pennsylvania State University, where she was elected Phi Beta Kappa.
 
Before taking the bench, Judge Kunselman practiced in many areas of civil law, including domestic relations. In addition to her private practice, she headed Beaver County's law department for seven years as its solicitor.
 
As an active member of the Beaver County Bar Association, Judge Kunselman participated in the Beaver County Mock Trial Competition on an annual basis and in many Bar Association sponsored programs, such as Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and Special Olympics.
 
She and her husband, Christopher R. Kunselman, are the parents of three children.
