Judge Peter O. Steege |
|
Elected
to the bench in 1985 and retained for a second 10 year term
in 1995, Senior Judge Peter O. Steege served as a member of
the Court of Common Pleas from January, 1986 through 2003.
Before becoming a judge, he was a partner in the law firm
of Steege and McNees. |

Judge
Steege is a graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown,
Connecticut, and of the University of Chicago Law School.
He is a member of the Beaver County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations,
and of the Conference of Pennsylvania State Trial Judges.
He has served as a faculty advisor with the National Judicial
College, and he is currently the President of the Board of
Drug and Alcohol Services of Beaver Valley. |

Active
in civic affairs before taking the bench, Judge Steege was
President of the Board of the Medical Center of Beaver County,
and Chairman of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Regional Planning
Commission. |
