Beaver County's Magisterial District Justices

Edward C. Howe, 36-2-01
An active participant in various community programs, Magisterial District Judge Ed Howe was elected to his third term in November, 2009, for District 36-2-01. Mr. Howe succeeded long time District Judge Lewis E. Kirchner, who served this district for four terms before his retirement in 1995.
A graduate of Rochester High School, Mr. Howe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Vincent’s College in Latrobe, PA. He currently serves as the President of the Magisterial District Judge Association for Judicial District 36.
Prior to being elected district judge, Mr. Howe was a member of the Rochester Borough Police Department for 23 years. For over 30 years, he has volunteered with both the Rochester and Economy Borough Fire Departments.
